Verified Coverage

S.W.A.T. Plumbing LLC is a licensed master-plumber-operated contractor (TX Master License #M-39596) headquartered at 2111 East FM1187 in Aledo, TX, serving White Settlement — where Liberator Village was built for WWII B-24 bomber plant workers starting in 1942, leaving 1940s galvanized supply and cast-iron drains now 80 years old, served by the city's own separate municipal water utility — from its Fort Worth dispatch hub since 2013.

Liberator Village was built in White Settlement to house workers at the Consolidated Vultee Aircraft plant that began producing B-24 Liberator bombers in February 1942. The neighborhood name still appears on street signs and plats across the city. Liberator Village and the surrounding blocks were built in the 1940s and early 1950s with galvanized steel supply lines and cast-iron drain systems — now 70 to 80 years old. Galvanized corrodes from the inside out, depositing iron scale that progressively restricts flow. Cast-iron sewer laterals in that era experience joint separation and root intrusion. The 1970s and 1980s tracts in Westview Hills, Ridgeview, and Briar Creek Estates added a second generation — copper supply with cast-iron drain stacks now 40 to 50 years into service life.

The City of White Settlement operates its own municipal water utility — separate from Fort Worth Water. Service interruptions and pressure issues route through White Settlement's utility department, not Fort Worth's, and water quality data comes from a separate sampling program. The supply delivers moderately hard water common across western Tarrant County; sediment buildup in water heaters that have never been flushed is routine, and hard water scale on tankless coils shortens service life without a pre-filter.

Permits for qualifying plumbing work route through City of White Settlement — not Fort Worth. Contractors who cover west Fort Worth and treat 76108 addresses as Fort Worth permit territory submit permits to the wrong office. S.W.A.T. Plumbing pulls permits through City of White Settlement on all qualifying jobs and reaches most White Settlement addresses in about 11 minutes from Fort Worth.

Known Threats

Common plumbing issues
in White Settlement.

Local soil, water chemistry, and housing stock create predictable failure patterns. Understanding whats common here lets S.W.A.T. Plumbing arrive with the right equipment already loaded.

Common Issues — White Settlement

  • Original galvanized steel supply lines in Liberator Village and 1950s-era White Settlement blocks corrode from the inside out — restricted flow, rust staining at fixtures, and pinhole failure are the progression.
  • Cast-iron sewer laterals in pre-1970 White Settlement homes reach end-of-life with root intrusion at joints and joint separation from decades of seasonal ground movement.
  • City of White Settlement operates its own municipal water utility separate from Fort Worth Water — hard water scale accumulates in water heater tanks and tankless coils at comparable rates to the broader west Tarrant County profile.
  • High clay-soil content under White Settlement's 5-square-mile footprint causes seasonal shrink-swell that cracks buried slab drain laterals — slab-offset calls increase after each dry summer.
  • Contractors covering west Fort Worth frequently submit plumbing permits to Fort Worth Development Services for 76108 addresses — invalid for work inside White Settlement city limits, which has its own separate permit office.

  • My A/C was leaking because of a backup in the main drain pipe. The tech Tyler was beyond communicative, patient, and tenacious to fix this. He stayed until almost 6p troubleshooting and sticking with the plan of action that freed the issue. Great guy and great service. As a bonus, I requested the soonest available service and when there was a cancellation that pulled my appointment forward by one day. One earlier day with A/C in Mya in Texas. Win! I was provided them through my home warranty service. I will definitely request them again. Tyler was the man!

  • Over the weekend, I needed to call a plumber when the expansion tank on my water heater began leaking. I was unsure what might happen if the situation worsened, so I contacted my home warranty service to request assistance. I had previously informed them that if I ever needed plumbing services again, I preferred to work exclusively with S.W.A.T. Plumbing. On Monday morning, I received a call from Christi at S.W.A.T. Plumbing. She explained that although the plumber was finishing another job, she could have someone out later that afternoon. She told me that Scott H. would be handling the call and would contact me when he was on his way. About five minutes after our call ended, Christi called back to let me know that I would be Scott's next service stop. I really appreciated that level of communication. Less than forty five minutes later, Scott arrived at my home. Scott was professional from the moment he arrived. After a brief greeting, he immediately went to work. He confirmed my suspicion that the expansion tank was the problem, returned to his truck for tools and a replacement tank, and had the new tank installed within about twenty minutes. The repair was completed quickly, smoothly, and—most importantly—professionally. This was not my first experience with S.W.A.T. Plumbing, and it certainly will not be my last should the need arise again. This team truly knows how to take care of their customers. Thank you for inviting me to participate in this survey. I appreciate the opportunity to share my feedback. If you have any follow up questions or need additional information, please feel free to contact me.
