S.W.A.T. Plumbing LLC is a licensed master-plumber-operated contractor (TX Master License #M-39596) headquartered at 2111 East FM1187 in Aledo, TX, serving Westworth Village — incorporated 1941 in response to NAS Fort Worth Joint Reserve Base construction, within ZIP 76114 where four permit jurisdictions share one ZIP code — from its Fort Worth dispatch hub since 2013.

76114

Westworth Village incorporated in 1941, directly in response to the federal government's construction of Naval Air Station Fort Worth Joint Reserve Base. The base occupies the city's eastern boundary today. At 2,585 residents in 2.08 square miles, it operates as its own fully independent municipality with its own City Hall and its own permitting process — entirely separate from Fort Worth.

Homes built in the 1950s through 1980s dominate the Westworth Way corridor and the neighborhoods adjacent to the JRB. Original galvanized steel supply lines in those older builds are at or past end-of-life: restricted flow, rust-colored water at the tap, and pinhole failures that appear first at fittings under stress. Some of the older homes adjacent to the JRB corridor have carried minimal maintenance load for decades, and accelerated pipe corrosion is a recurring finding on first-visit assessments in that zone. Clay soil throughout Tarrant County contributes seasonal ground movement that stresses buried slab drain lines.

ZIP 76114 covers four separate permit jurisdictions — Westworth Village, River Oaks, Sansom Park, and portions of Fort Worth proper — making it the most permit-error-prone ZIP code in Tarrant County. A plumber who assumes Fort Worth jurisdiction is wrong roughly half the time in this corridor. S.W.A.T. Plumbing confirms the parcel boundary before submitting any permit application and dispatches from Fort Worth in about 8 minutes.

Known Threats

Common plumbing issues
in Westworth Village.

Local soil, water chemistry, and housing stock create predictable failure patterns. Understanding whats common here lets S.W.A.T. Plumbing arrive with the right equipment already loaded.

Common Issues — Westworth Village

  • 1950s-80s homes with original galvanized steel supply lines near the JRB corridor experience restricted flow and rust-colored water — interior corrosion has been narrowing pipe diameter for decades.
  • Hard water from Fort Worth municipal supply deposits limescale inside water heaters, aerators, and tankless heat exchanger coils — scale accumulation is a maintenance reality, not a long-term risk.
  • Clay soil throughout Tarrant County bench causes seasonal ground movement that stresses buried slab drain laterals — bellies and offsets appear after summer drought cycles.
  • ZIP 76114 spans four permit jurisdictions — Westworth Village, River Oaks, Sansom Park, Fort Worth proper — making address-based permit routing the most unreliable approach in this corridor.
  • Older homes adjacent to the NAS Fort Worth JRB boundary show accelerated corrosion on supply and drain systems that have seen minimal replacement investment over decades.

  • My A/C was leaking because of a backup in the main drain pipe. The tech Tyler was beyond communicative, patient, and tenacious to fix this. He stayed until almost 6p troubleshooting and sticking with the plan of action that freed the issue. Great guy and great service. As a bonus, I requested the soonest available service and when there was a cancellation that pulled my appointment forward by one day. One earlier day with A/C in Mya in Texas. Win! I was provided them through my home warranty service. I will definitely request them again. Tyler was the man!

  • Over the weekend, I needed to call a plumber when the expansion tank on my water heater began leaking. I was unsure what might happen if the situation worsened, so I contacted my home warranty service to request assistance. I had previously informed them that if I ever needed plumbing services again, I preferred to work exclusively with S.W.A.T. Plumbing. On Monday morning, I received a call from Christi at S.W.A.T. Plumbing. She explained that although the plumber was finishing another job, she could have someone out later that afternoon. She told me that Scott H. would be handling the call and would contact me when he was on his way. About five minutes after our call ended, Christi called back to let me know that I would be Scott's next service stop. I really appreciated that level of communication. Less than forty five minutes later, Scott arrived at my home. Scott was professional from the moment he arrived. After a brief greeting, he immediately went to work. He confirmed my suspicion that the expansion tank was the problem, returned to his truck for tools and a replacement tank, and had the new tank installed within about twenty minutes. The repair was completed quickly, smoothly, and—most importantly—professionally. This was not my first experience with S.W.A.T. Plumbing, and it certainly will not be my last should the need arise again. This team truly knows how to take care of their customers. Thank you for inviting me to participate in this survey. I appreciate the opportunity to share my feedback. If you have any follow up questions or need additional information, please feel free to contact me.
