Verified Coverage

S.W.A.T. Plumbing LLC is a licensed master-plumber-operated contractor (TX Master License #M-39596) headquartered at 2111 East FM1187 in Aledo, TX, serving Haslet — a community that grew nearly 98% between 2020 and 2023, where the Alliance corridor mixes municipal supply with rural Trinity aquifer wells carrying elevated iron and sulfur — from its Fort Worth dispatch hub since 2013.

Haslet sits at the intersection of two distinct plumbing environments. The newer Alliance-corridor subdivisions — 2010s and 2020s tract homes — connect to the Eagle Mountain-Saginaw municipal water system. PEX construction throughout, but rapid development means some of these homes were built on immature, settling ground. In the first two to five years after construction, manifold connections and PEX fittings are under stress from ground movement that hasn't stabilized. Without a softener, the Eagle Mountain-Saginaw system's moderate mineral loads accumulate scale in water heater anode rods and fixture aerators faster than the manufacturer's service schedule anticipates.

The rural-residential parcels on large lots — many running one to five-plus acres, some on the Denton County fringe — operate entirely outside the municipal system. Private Trinity aquifer wells carry iron, manganese, and sulfur concentrations that require filtration or softening; without treatment, fixtures and appliances scale and stain within one to two years. Septic systems handle all wastewater on these parcels, and long private lateral run lengths mean pressure loss and joint failures in aging polyethylene or galvanized private mains.

City of Haslet issues its own plumbing permits for properties within city limits. Denton County handles permits for unincorporated ETJ parcels outside the city boundary. Properties near the Tarrant-Denton county line require a jurisdiction confirmation before permit application. S.W.A.T. Plumbing handles that check as part of job scoping and reaches most Haslet addresses in about 20 minutes from Fort Worth.

Known Threats

Common plumbing issues
in Haslet.

Local soil, water chemistry, and housing stock create predictable failure patterns. Understanding whats common here lets S.W.A.T. Plumbing arrive with the right equipment already loaded.

Common Issues — Haslet

  • Alliance-corridor new tract homes on immature, settling ground see manifold connection and PEX fitting stress in the first two to five years — failures often arrive before warranties expire but after builders have moved on.
  • Private Trinity aquifer wells on rural Haslet lots carry elevated iron, manganese, and sulfur loads — fixtures stain and appliances scale without proper filtration or water softening treatment.
  • Septic drain field failures on large-lot rural parcels — seasonal groundwater fluctuation from nearby West Fork Trinity River drainage stresses drain field performance after heavy rainfall events.
  • Dual water supply environment creates service confusion: Alliance-corridor municipal and rural well properties require completely different diagnostic approaches — an unfamiliar contractor may misread the system.
  • Long private lateral run lengths on rural parcels mean pressure loss and joint failures in aging polyethylene mains covering hundreds of feet from well to structure.

  • My A/C was leaking because of a backup in the main drain pipe. The tech Tyler was beyond communicative, patient, and tenacious to fix this. He stayed until almost 6p troubleshooting and sticking with the plan of action that freed the issue. Great guy and great service. As a bonus, I requested the soonest available service and when there was a cancellation that pulled my appointment forward by one day. One earlier day with A/C in Mya in Texas. Win! I was provided them through my home warranty service. I will definitely request them again. Tyler was the man!

  • Over the weekend, I needed to call a plumber when the expansion tank on my water heater began leaking. I was unsure what might happen if the situation worsened, so I contacted my home warranty service to request assistance. I had previously informed them that if I ever needed plumbing services again, I preferred to work exclusively with S.W.A.T. Plumbing. On Monday morning, I received a call from Christi at S.W.A.T. Plumbing. She explained that although the plumber was finishing another job, she could have someone out later that afternoon. She told me that Scott H. would be handling the call and would contact me when he was on his way. About five minutes after our call ended, Christi called back to let me know that I would be Scott's next service stop. I really appreciated that level of communication. Less than forty five minutes later, Scott arrived at my home. Scott was professional from the moment he arrived. After a brief greeting, he immediately went to work. He confirmed my suspicion that the expansion tank was the problem, returned to his truck for tools and a replacement tank, and had the new tank installed within about twenty minutes. The repair was completed quickly, smoothly, and—most importantly—professionally. This was not my first experience with S.W.A.T. Plumbing, and it certainly will not be my last should the need arise again. This team truly knows how to take care of their customers. Thank you for inviting me to participate in this survey. I appreciate the opportunity to share my feedback. If you have any follow up questions or need additional information, please feel free to contact me.
