Water Line
Repairs

Damaged water lines don't get better. A drip becomes a flood, a low-pressure annoyance becomes a no-water emergency. S.W.A.T. Plumbing repairs and replaces residential water lines — copper, PEX, and CPVC — with code-grade material and clean access.

When You Need This

The longer you wait,
the worse it gets.

A residential water line is everything from the main shut-off to the last fixture — supply lines in walls, runs through attics, branch lines under sinks. They fail from corrosion (galvanized), pinhole pitting (copper), freeze splits, fitting failures, and improper installation. S.W.A.T. Plumbing diagnoses the failure mode and matches the repair to the cause — not a one-size patch.

Warning Signs

  • Low water pressure on one fixture or one side of the house
  • Visible water stain on the ceiling below a bathroom or laundry
  • Hammering or banging sounds when water turns on or off
  • Rusty, brown, or metallic-tasting water from hot or cold taps
  • Soft or spongy spot in the yard between meter and house
  • Water meter spinning when all fixtures are off
  • Pipe corrosion visible at fittings, valves, or unions
  • Recent freeze with subsequent leaks or pressure loss

Mission Operations

How we execute
from call to close.

  1. 01.

    Inspect

    Find the Failure Point.

We isolate the affected branch and identify whether the failure is at a fitting, mid-run, or a corrosion zone in older galvanized line. For hidden leaks, electronic leak detection pinpoints the exact location before any access is opened.

  2. 02.

    Plan

    Repair, Reroute, or Replace.

You see three options when they apply: spot repair (single failure, healthy system), reroute (failed line, healthy fittings), or full replacement (system-wide failure pattern). Each is priced separately so the decision is yours.

  3. 03.

    Execute

    Code-Grade Material. Clean Access.

All work uses Texas-code-approved copper, PEX, or CPVC. We open the minimum access needed — typically a small drywall cut or attic entry — and isolate the repair to one defined area. No tear-out hunting.

  4. 04.

    Pressure Test

    Tested, Logged, Documented.

Every repair is pressure-tested to 80 PSI for a hold check before the access is closed. You receive a written summary with material spec, repair location, and test result for your records and any insurance claim.

  • My A/C was leaking because of a backup in the main drain pipe. The tech Tyler was beyond communicative, patient, and tenacious to fix this. He stayed until almost 6p troubleshooting and sticking with the plan of action that freed the issue. Great guy and great service. As a bonus, I requested the soonest available service and when there was a cancellation that pulled my appointment forward by one day. One earlier day with A/C in Mya in Texas. Win! I was provided them through my home warranty service. I will definitely request them again. Tyler was the man!

  • Over the weekend, I needed to call a plumber when the expansion tank on my water heater began leaking. I was unsure what might happen if the situation worsened, so I contacted my home warranty service to request assistance. I had previously informed them that if I ever needed plumbing services again, I preferred to work exclusively with S.W.A.T. Plumbing. On Monday morning, I received a call from Christi at S.W.A.T. Plumbing. She explained that although the plumber was finishing another job, she could have someone out later that afternoon. She told me that Scott H. would be handling the call and would contact me when he was on his way. About five minutes after our call ended, Christi called back to let me know that I would be Scott's next service stop. I really appreciated that level of communication. Less than forty five minutes later, Scott arrived at my home. Scott was professional from the moment he arrived. After a brief greeting, he immediately went to work. He confirmed my suspicion that the expansion tank was the problem, returned to his truck for tools and a replacement tank, and had the new tank installed within about twenty minutes. The repair was completed quickly, smoothly, and—most importantly—professionally. This was not my first experience with S.W.A.T. Plumbing, and it certainly will not be my last should the need arise again. This team truly knows how to take care of their customers. Thank you for inviting me to participate in this survey. I appreciate the opportunity to share my feedback. If you have any follow up questions or need additional information, please feel free to contact me.
